Ingredients

  • 3 cups crushed ice
  • 1 cup refrigerated nondairy creamer
  • 3/4 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 16 small strawberries, hulled
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup honey

Nutritional Facts

1 serving (1 cup) equals 330 calories, 18 g fat (9 g saturated fat), 51 mg cholesterol, 49 mg sodium, 44 g carbohydrate, 1 g fiber, 2 g protein.

Directions

  1. Place half of each ingredient in a blender; cover and process on high until smooth. Pour into a pitcher. Repeat. Refrigerate for 30 minutes. Stir before serving. Yield: 5 servings

I have used this recipe at home and school. It's a big hit. The whipping cream makes it really rich and thick. However, I substitute milk for all of the whipping cream though, to cut down on calories and fat. Plus, I don't have it on hand and I do always have the rest of the ingredients. This is a great, simple recipe!
