Strawberry-Glazed Fruit Salad Recipe

I first tasted this delightful salad at a friend's house when she served it with dinner. It tastes so good made with fresh strawberries. After sampling it, no one would ever believe how incredibly easy it is to prepare. - Jeri Dobrowski, Beach, North Dakota
TOTAL TIME: Prep: 10 min. + chilling YIELD:6-8 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 quart fresh strawberries, halved
  • 1 can (20 ounces) pineapple chunks, drained
  • 4 firm bananas, sliced
  • 1 jar or pouch (16 ounces) strawberry glaze

Directions

  • 1. In a large bowl, gently toss the strawberries, pineapple and bananas; fold in glaze. Chill for 1 hour. Yield: 6-8 servings.

"Very good and quite the hit with my family. I only used a 12 oz. container of the glaze and it was more than enough. We topped with whipped topping. YUM! My niece had 3 helpings before we realized there was very little left for others to try. This will become a common dish I bring to gatherings!"

"This is a very simple recipe. It took no time at all and was a huge hit. It is a tad sweet to use as a side dish for dinner. I used it for our dessert. Still, this is definitely one that I will continue to use in the future!"
