Frozen berries and fruit keep these frosty smoothies extra thick, sent by Christy Adkins of Martinez, Georgia. Best of all, the recipe is a great way to use up that last banana.

"My only complaint about this smoothie is I wish I had more! This is very tasty, but I thought it was more of a one person serving size. I would definitely double the recipe next time, if making it for two people. I wouldn't add any extra sugar, though, as I thought it was plenty sweet enough."

"This was good! I used a tablespoon of honey instead of the sugar and the kids still enjoyed it so much so that they asked when was I going to make it again."

"Me entire family absolutely LOVED these. The only thing I did differently, was use whole milk instead of 2%. My kids are already asking me when they can have them again."

"My sister got her wisdom teeth pulled this morning and will be on a liquid only diet for another week so I made a little bit of this to taste it-- a few minutes after my sister tried it I had made a full pitcher of the smoothie. Absolutely delicious. The only thing was I made it with vanilla yogurt."

"This recipe is awesome!!!!!! I used aprox. 6 strawberries, Liberte Yogurt (plain), and almost 3/4 a banana. This is the best smoothie I have EVER made. It is very "professional". This is my go-to smoothie! I love how it uses sugar over honey. It makes it taste very good!!!!"

" I use really ripe (frozen) bananas, and any other fruit on hand for my smoothies. Plus fruit flavored (or vanilla) yogurt and fruit juice instead of milk. Smoothies are a way of using up "stuff" in my kitchen. I usually drink one right after I mix it up (in a blender) and then pour the rest into plastic cups and freeze. Then I always have one to take on the road with me. They thaw pretty fast.

Also use peanut butter, honey and banana and milk (or yogurt). The possibilites are endless!
