Very flavorful and smelled delicious baking. The texture is a little denser and drier than I expected. It was very good, but my family prefers a moister quick bread.

I baked this bread tonight, it was delicious! But not sure why there was a long white gooey string in a piece of it. I thought I mixed it enough, can anyone shed any light on this?

This bread with the butter is WONDERFUL! It's like all things autumn whisked up into a tempting loaf of quick bread! The only thing I changed was that I added toasted pecans instead of walnuts. I can't wait to have my husband try it! I can image using the butter on pancakes, french toast, regular toast, bagels, ect. I just love it!
