Speedy Chicken Marinade Recipe

This is the best "fooler" recipe I've ever used. It takes just a few minutes but looks like you fussed. You can even place frozen chicken breasts in the marinade and allow them to defrost and marinade in the refrigerator overnight.—Nan Haring, Portage, Michigan
TOTAL TIME: Prep: 5 min. + marinating Grill: 10 min. YIELD:6-8 servings

  • 1 envelope Italian salad dressing mix
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1-1/2 to 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts

  • 1. In a large resealable plastic bag, combine the dressing mix, red wine vinegar and soy sauce. Add chicken breasts. Seal and refrigerate for several hours.
  • 2. Remove chicken from the marinade and grill over medium-hot heat for 5-6 minutes on each side or until chicken juices run clear. Yield: 6-8 servings.

"Have my chicken marinating in the fridge for this weekend when my family is going camping. Had only enough ingredients for 1 recipe but had 7 thighs and 3 drumsticks. Only change I made was I only had white wine vinegar. Will update on how it turned out."

"This is my new go-to recipe when marinating chicken. This marinade is absolutely delicious and so quick and easy to prepare. I left my chicken in the marinade overnight and all the next day because we ate out at the last minute. The longer marinating time didn't hurt at all. That chicken was mouth-watering good. Definitely worth five stars."
