Sour Mix Recipe
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup water
- 3/4 cup lemon juice
- 3/4 cup lime juice
- 1. In a small saucepan, combine sugar and water. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 3 to 5 minutes or until sugar is dissolved, stirring occasionally. Remove from the heat; cool to room temperature.
- 2. Transfer to a container with a tight-fitting lid. Add lemon and lime juices. Store in the refrigerator for up to two weeks. Yield: 3-2/3 cups.

"This makes a wonderful Whiskey Sour. I highly recommend this one!! I added just a splash of maraschino cherry juice to my drink, due to I didn't have any cherries, or orange. It was WONDERFUL!! It even added a little red to the drink - certainly great to serve guests during this upcoming Holiday Season!!"
