Reviews for Sour Cream Cucumbers
"My mother made this recipe for me as a little girl and now I have made this for my family for over 35 years. I also add a tablespoon of mayonnaise and we serve this over baby red potatoes. Try it!"
"My German grandmother's recipe includes 1C. sour cream, 1 t. sugar, 1 T. vinegar, 1 clove shaved garlic, 1/4 c. salad oil, S & P and at least 1 T. fresh dill.; whisked & tossed with cukes. Consumed by all every time, even those who are not cucumber crazy."
"A little salt brings out the flavor, otherwise very good."
"My mom always made this! It was one of my favorite summer meals. We would eat it with a slice of fried ham and mashed potatoes. Yum!"
"It's ok, but missing something. Maybe salt or seasoned salt? Others mentioned dill, maybe that would work. I'll try again but will experiment with adding additional seasoning. Very refreshing on a hot day!"
