Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 cups water (70° to 80°)
  • 1/4 cup canola oil
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1-1/2 cups quick-cooking oats
  • 2-1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast

Directions

  1. In bread machine pan, place all ingredients in order suggested by manufacturer. Select basic bread setting. Choose crust color and loaf size if available.
  2. Bake according to bread machine directions (check dough after 5 minutes of mixing; add 1-2 tablespoons of water or flour if needed).

Can you freeze Soft Oatmeal Bread?

Securely wrap cooled loaf in foil and then freeze. To use, thaw at room temperature.
