A comforting casserole with mass appeal is just what you need when cooking for a crowd. For added convenience, it stays warm in a slow cooker. —Virginia Krites, Cridersville, Ohio

I prepared this recipe tonight and it is another winner. I did do a few things differently. I used spiral pasta which I happened to have on hand and I halved the recipe. Also, instead of a slow cooker, I put it in a casserole dish and baked it at 350º for 30 minutes. It was delicious. Here is the link to my review and pictures. We will have this again.

I can't get enough of this!! Definetley one of my favorite meals. The only thing I did different was I heated it through on the stovetop for about 30 minutes to speed things up, not in the slow cooker.

My family has pizza night every Friday night and this was a GREAT recipe to switch it up from the regular pizza. Great flavor and it made a lot! I froze the leftovers and it freezes great.

This was a perfect recipe to throw together before my son's baseball game. It was cooked and ready when we got home. I substituted cream of chicken soup for the mushroom (we aren't mushroom fans!) and it turned out great. You could definitely add "toppings" to suit your family's taste. I only cooked the pasta about 1/2 way so it wouldn't be mushy, and cooked it for 2 1/2 hours.
