Skillet Green Beans Recipe
Skillet Green Beans is a staple side dish in the Columbus, Michigan home of Linda Sugars.
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1/4 cup stick margarine
- 2 packages (16 ounces each) frozen cut green beans, thawed
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- Paprika, optional
- 1. In a skillet, saute onion in margarine until tender. Add beans, salt and pepper. Cook until heated through. Serve with sour cream; sprinkle with paprika if desired. Yield: 8 servings
