Reviews for Simple Pork Chop Dinner
"Very good! I seasoned the pork with a spice blend, Pikes Peak ( any blend would do). I think it gave the pork a little more flavor. I also added a sliced small red pepper. I omitted the potatoes and served the pork dish with Spanish rice. Quick to pull together in the morning before running out the door."
"Was not impressed with this recipe. While the pork turned out tender, it lacked flavor.."
"My husband loved it! One of the best dishes he has ever had!"
"made this for dinner last night. My husband loved it, I thought it was good but could use a little more seasoning. The pork chops were very tender. Will make again."
"Easy and delicious. We loved it."
"This was super easy to make and the gravy was fantastic. I will be making this again."
"I browned chops first, changed the onion soup mix for leek soup mix, used salt free mushroom soup, and added some sliced fresh mushrooms. I left out the potatoes and used mashed ones for a side with the gravy. It was wonderful. I will be making this again."
"Easy! Delicious! Family really like this ... thinking I could omit the chunk potatoes, and use the gravy on mashed potatoes since have to make 2 entrees some nights due to picky eaters :( On the seasoning issue-- I used some No Salt seasoning and healthy Request Mushroom Soup (due to sodium in onion soup mix). No one complained! Thanks! This recipe is a winner."
"Made it today an it was a hit with the family."
"I browned the chops in oil before putting in the slow cooker. My family loved this recipe and asked me to make it again!"
"Very good comforting meal. Easy to put together. I used two cans of cream of chicken since I did not have mushroom and it was delicious. Pork just fell apart. Thanks for the recipe!"
"This is a quick easy meal to throw together before work and leave to cook all day!"
"My husband and I don't even like pork chops, but we liked this dish! The sauce and the flavors were excellent and the vegetables make it a nice well-rounded meal. We'll be serving this again!"
"Very delicious. I actually subbed the cream of mushroom soup for one can of cream of potato and one can of cream of celery.I might cook it a little less next time so there is less chance the pork is dry."
"This was excellent! My son said it was the best pork he ever ate and since he is very picky when it comes to eating, this recipe is a keeper."
"This was pretty good. I found the pork a little bland. maybe i will try seasoning it and browning it separately before adding it next time. My family still enjoyed it though. It is super easy to make, so i will prolly make this again when i need something simple that can cook all day by itself."
"Easy to make ,and the meat was tender and moist but it lacked flavor,i will try it again but will try adding some other spices."
"Omitted the sliced onions. Two cans of mushroom soup made a LOT of gravy. It was very tasty and easy."
"I made this today and everyone loved it. I substituted baby carrots for the regular ones as someone else suggested. I didn't have 6-8 hours so I put it on high for five. The meat just fell off the bone. I will be making this again!!"
"I should have used less onion soup mix. Too salty for our taste. Also, would use red potatoes & baby carrots. They hold up better."
"I HAVE BEEN BLESSED WITH A VERY VIVID IMAGINATION AND A DISTINCTIVE PALLATE AND I CAN TASTE THIS ALREADY.AND WITH THE ONION AND MUSHROOM SOUPS YOU CAN'T LOSE ON FLAVOR.AND I'M PRETTY SURE THE COUNTRY RIBS WILL WORK FINE.I CAN'T WAIT TO ACTUALLY SAVOR THE FLAVOR.THANK YOU MIKE,KEEP ON COOKIN'. DORCELLA"

"I haven't tried this yet but it sounds great I have some country style ribs that need to be used. I have all the ingriedients shall make it and let you know how it turns out. Thank You for the recipe.Peggy (BigDogHouse5)"
"These chops were super easy and very delicious. I usually have all of this stuff in my fridge/freezer and pantry, so I can make them anytime. I used frozen chops and I pulled out the veggies before the chops were done, so they wouldn't be mushy. I hate mushy carrots! (:"
