Reviews for Simple Honey Mustard Chicken
"I made this with all drumsticks. The sauce and flavor was fantastic. However, the skin did not get crispy enough for our taste. So we ended up taking off most of the skin and therefore missed out on a lot of the flavor. I may try this recipe again at a higher oven temperature to try to crisp the skin up more."
"I don't try too many new recipes because I have a picky eater at home, but this was delicious and my picky eater loved it. It was easy to prepare too."
"I poured all of the sauce onit, didn't save it for dipping. Very good and easy!"
"Absolutely delicious! Chicken turned out very moist and the sauce was really good."
"Prepared it just as instructed, but put all the sauce on as it cooked. It was very moist and the whole family loved it!"
"Very moist and flavorful even without the extra dipping sauce."
"My kids liked this recipe so much that they fought over the last piece of chicken! They and my husband told me that I have to make this again!"
"I guess I just do not like the taste of honey mustard cooked. I think it is a taste you must have to like it."
"I was really skeptical about this recipe because the ingredients don't really seem to go together, but I tried it anyways. It was very tasty. The only thing I would change is to use less Italian seasoning next time."
"very good! The sauce tastes a million times better after it's been baked on the chicken, so don't be discouraged if it tastes a little weird before hand!"
"One of the best chicken recipes ever!! I have made it twice with few variations, will keep this as a go-to recipe!"
"Loved this! Even my picky eaters ate this. I'll be making this again...soon!"
"Easy and quick to make recipe. This is delicious and I like the ease of it."
"I didn't give this a rating because I didn't finish making the chicken. I started with the first nine ingredients as the recipe stated, and when I tasted it I knew it wasn't for us. Somehow the ranch dressing mix just didn't go with the honey mustard flavors."
"What I loved about this recipe was the extra dipping sauce. I bake the chicken with the skin on, but I don't eat the skin, so with most recipes, I lose out on the flavoring. Not with this recipe! The honey-mustard dipping sauce is delicious. I used dijon & used all thighs. Will be making again."
"Very tasty, quick to prepare."
"The whole family loved it!"
"This was very easy and tasty! Love dishes like this. I used chicken thighs and drumsticks with skin on and skin off since I don't like the skin. I felt like the ones with the skin on were more moist, but the taste was the same. Next time I might try skinless chicken breasts since I typically don't buy drumsticks and thighs. Oh, my kids liked the chicken but not the dipping sauce. It certainly doesn't need it in my opinion. Thanks for the recipe."
"love this! I made with frozen chicken breast delicious!!"
"Really easy to prepare. I used spicy mustard and a 3lb chicken cut in pieces no skin. Husband was impressed."
"I made this with chicken hindquarters from my local store. I did remove the skin from the chicken prior to cooking. It smelled delicious and was easy to make with ingredients on hand. I think the sauce would also be good with chicken nuggets and chicken breasts."
