Simple Broccoli Salad Recipe
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 4 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
- 1/4 cup chopped sweet red pepper
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 1. In a bowl, combine broccoli, bacon and red pepper. In another bowl, stir the mayonnaise, sugar and vinegar until smooth. Pour over broccoli mixture and toss to coat. Yield: 4 servings.
1 cup: 261 calories, 23g fat (3g saturated fat), 15mg cholesterol, 384mg sodium, 9g carbohydrate (7g sugars, 1g fiber), 4g protein.
