Ingredients

  • 3/4 pound fresh green beans
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons sesame seeds, toasted

Nutritional Facts

39 calories: 1/2 cup, 2g fat (1g saturated fat), 5mg cholesterol, 181mg sodium, 4g carbohydrate (1g sugars, 2g fiber), 1g protein .

Directions

  1. In a large saucepan, bring beans and water to a boil; reduce heat to medium. Cover and cook for 10-15 minutes or until beans are crisp-tender; drain. Add the butter, soy sauce and sesame seeds; toss to coat. Yield: 6 servings.

"Simple and delicious!!! I used frozen whole green beans for convenience but I'll try them with fresh green beans next time. My family really enjoyed them!!"
