"This was great! Very easy and delicious! I have just started cooking fish and this was a good recipe to start with."
"Great flavor and so easy. I used smoked paprika instead of regular. Delicious!"
"This is a great recipe. Low calorie and delicious. I didn't changeanything, which is uncommon for me because I am one who normally adds something."
"I made this for dinner tonight . . .it was delicious. I did not use the butter, but squeezed a 1/2 lemon over the fish and a little water for moisture. Seasonings were perfect! I served this on a bed of steamed spinach."
"First time cooking Tilapia fish...made it for dinner, was delicious and fast and easy to cook...but couldn't taste enough of the seasoning...keeping this recipe but adding a little more seasonings and exchange the onion powder to lemon salt."
"Made this for dinner last night. Only change was we used Swai as that is what I had thawed. This was amazing. Wanted to do something a little different and this was it."
"Wonderful seasoning that perks up a tender and moist fillet. Easy and quick to make. Great flavor, and everyone ate it! This is a keeper."
"Just cooked this tonight and it tastes amazing. A new and healthy way to eat tilapia that tastes amazing."
"This was great prepared adding a smidge of lemon peper"
"I made this tonight using the NuWave oven and frozen tilapia. Brushed 1T melted butter and sprinkled 1/2 the seasoning. Turned it after 5 min, brushed with another 1T melted butter & rest of seasoning & cooked for another 5 min. It was delicious!"
"Very simple to make and delicious."
"Quick and yummy!"
"This recipe is absolutely delicious!!! I did not like fish but I needed to start eating light and well after trying this I'm definitely a fish eater now!! I did squeeze half an orange on the tilapia before I started seasoning. Also a tad but more of each ingredient as I was nervous the recipe would not be enough. Looks like I will be visiting the grocery market tomorrow for some more tilapia!"
"I have never tasted a seasoning this exquisite. Tilapia is my favorite fish and I have tried more recipes than I can count. I can't urge you enough to give this one a try. You won't be disappointed. It's wonderful!!!"
"Excellent seasoning! Restaurant quality and delicious! The seasoning amount dressed up 4 small tilapia fillets nicely. Fish flaked beautifully after baking and had a wonderful flavor. Served with the asparagus side as shown."
"This was delicious and so quick to make. I will be making it again."
"I made this for supper tonight. Paired it with angel hair pasta with herbs & a tossed salad. Hubby said "it's a keeper"!"
"I would make this again but I would cut back on the seasoning. We thought it was way too strong!"
"Very good flavor and simple to prepare. Can't wait to have this again."
"As a side note - I added a tablespoon or 2 of roasted garlic breadcrumbs which helps with th crispy nature of the mix."
"An awesome seasoned recipe for a change. Most I have found are so bland they're not worth the time. (And to the reviewer who found her filet "fishy" - you must have had a spoiled or bad filet as this is not a "fishy" fish at all - generally fish should not smell fishy or they are already going bad). We really enjoy this and often for the last few minutes of baking throw the convection on to crisp up the coating. Works very well but does require some babysitting to avoid burning or over cooking. Pairs well with fresh asparagus too!"
"healthy and easy to throw together, with great flavor. We'll definitely be eating this again."
"I'm not a seafood type of person; however, this was pretty good. My problem was I found the tilapia "fishy" but my BF loved it and cleaned his plate. In the end if you enjoy fish this is a great recipe"
"Both my kids, a 17 year old and 10 year old chowed this down! It's a keeper!!"
"This receive is wonderful and I'm not a huge fish fan. It was so easy to make and absolutely delicious. It's definitely going to be a go to recipe when I make tilapia."
"I looove Tilapia, normally I fry it and make a sandwich out of it! When this was featured in one of my emails..I said "okay, tilapia, what else can you possibly do to tilapia?" I'm glad I gave this a try! My daughter loved this and so did I!! The seasoning is perfect!"
"delicious and easy."
"This recipe was good but a little too powerful on the spices. I think it would have been better to rub the spices on both sides of the fillets before cooking."
"I keep having to make this because my husband likes it so much. He says it's like being punched in the face with FLAVOR, which seems to be a good thing. I'm almost sick of making it, actually."
"This is absolutely delicious as written. No changes are needed. It is easy and calls for everyday spices. I used Monterrey Steak seasoning that I had on hand. I served it on a bed of rice pilaf with mandarin oranges and asparagus tossed with lemon juice & toasted sesame seeds. A pretty plate, a delicious, healthy meal and only 30 minutes to prepare. Thank you Dana!"
"This was wonderful. We love tilapia and I have tried many, many different recipes. This was by far my family's favorite. This will definitely become a staple in our home! Simple and delicious."
"Delicious! Keeping this one around for sure!"
"I made this Sunday night and my husband and I loved it! It tasted just as good or better than restaurant tilapia dishes! It was a snap to prepare and healthy as a bonus! LOVE IT! This will be one of my staples."
"To the person who asked about what type of steak seasoning to use...If you look near the end of the recipe, it says that they used Montreal Steak Seasoning. It is found with the spices in a plastic jar like the other spices come in. I have made this before and it is definitely good. I think I will make it this week, in fact."
"Seasonings are wonderful. Great recipe!"
"Really good! I've been trying to get my family to eat more fish and this recipe will definitely help."
"I am anxious to try this recipe, but I'm confused about what type of "steak seasoning" to use. Could someone clarify for me, please?"
"A quick, simple recipe using ingredients easily found in most kitchens. And so delicious that the tartar sauce I put on the table went back to the fridge unused!"
"This has become a weekly staple in our home. So easy and healthy!"
"We loved this! It was so tasty and easy. Will make this over and over again."
"This was very good...the butter flavor really helped. I have never been a fish person, but am trying to open my horizons and force myself to eat more fish. This recipe (I followed it to a "T") made that task easy. Will definitely make it again."
"Wonderful recipe - fast in prep time, wonderful flavor - now I am suggesting this with everyone who says "I don't know how to cook fish!""
"I made this for my husband and son last night and we all loved it!! It was very easy to make and I will now make it often!"
"Easy recipe. This dish is very flavorful!"
"This was super easy and really good! My kids loved it! I served it over rice and it was a huge hit in my family"
"How simple and what amazing flavor. I have also prepared a larger quantity of the rub which I believe will be wonderful on any fish and possibly chicken as well. I am on a low salt diet - so I used the Morton No-Salt. Also sprayed olive oil instead of using the butter Guilt-Free cooking, love it."
"I've probably made this recipe at least 6 times since I received it in the issue of Simple & Delicious. The light fish blends well with the flavors of the seasoning, and it's so easy to make. Such a quick and easy meal that has left a lasting impression in my household."
"everyone loved it. of course i tweeked a few seasonings, but it's so simple & good!"
"This was delicious! I didn't have any thyme or onion powder onhand so I mixed minced onions with the topping and it worked well. Big hit!"
"This was wonderful. We grilled it instead of baking. Great flavor. In fact, my husband loved the taste of the rub so much that he made up a huge batch and has been using it on chicken, pork, etc. The creator of this recipe was right when they said this is "restaurant-quality." I think they could actually sell the spice mix commercially!!"
"Yummy flavor. I don't cook fish too much but when I do, I like tilapia fillets and this added a great, familiar flavor. I will definitely make this again. Great with the Asparagus with Dill Sauce recipe too!"
