- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 2 cups chicken broth
- In a small saucepan, heat butter over medium heat. Add garlic; cook and stir 1 minute. Stir in flour, poultry seasoning and pepper until smooth; gradually whisk in broth. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly; cook and stir 1-2 minutes or until thickened. Yield: 2 cups.
