Seasoned Garlic Gravy Recipe
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1. In a small saucepan, heat butter over medium heat. Add garlic; cook and stir 1 minute. Stir in flour, poultry seasoning and pepper until smooth; gradually whisk in broth. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly; cook and stir until thickened, 1-2 minutes. Yield: 2 cups.
2 tablespoons: 28 calories, 2g fat (1g saturated fat), 6mg cholesterol, 138mg sodium, 2g carbohydrate (0 sugars, 0 fiber), 0 protein. Diabetic Exchanges: 1/2 fat.
