  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 cups chicken broth


  • 1. In a small saucepan, heat butter over medium heat. Add garlic; cook and stir 1 minute. Stir in flour, poultry seasoning and pepper until smooth; gradually whisk in broth. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly; cook and stir 1-2 minutes or until thickened. Yield: 2 cups.
