- 4 large baking apples, sliced
- 1/3 cup water
- 1/3 cup maple syrup
- Dash salt
- Vanilla ice cream
- In a skillet, combine apples, water, syrup and salt; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 5-7 minutes or until apples are tender. Serve warm over ice cream. Yield: 6 servings.
