Bring out the kid in everyone by preparing pigs-in-a-blanket with sausage links and refrigerated breadsticks. This old-fashioned finger food is a fun addition to a breakfast buffet. Or make a heaping plateful for a snack.
TOTAL TIME: Prep/Total Time: 20 min. YIELD:12 servings


  • 1 tube (11 ounces) refrigerated breadstick dough
  • 12 smoked sausage links or hot dogs


  • 1. Separate the dough into 12 strips; unroll and wrap one strip around each sausage. Place on an ungreased baking sheet.
  • 2. Bake at 350° for 15-17 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm. Yield: 1 dozen.

"I used hot dogs and served this for lunch. I had to adjust the recipe only because my Walmart didn't have the Pillsbury breadsticks. I used the seamless dough sheet and cut it into strips to wrap around the hot dogs. I used a pizza cutter to cut the sheet and it worked perfectly. There was plenty to wrap 8 dogs and could probably have done 10. A quick easy lunch that was devoured! Will definitely be making this again."
