"Made these green beans for a family gathering, I used Italian sausage and cooked the onions with the sausage, after draining I tossed the drained green beans in the same skillet with the drained sausage and heated for about 15 minutes allowing the beans to absorbe the flavor of the sausage. Many people asked if it was a secret recipe. passed the recipe out along with the taste of home website."
