"Actually, I combined 2 recipes: Saltine Cracker Candy and the Saltine Toffee Bark!

I used 1 cup packed brown sugar, 1 cup butter, cubed, 35 saltine crackers, 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter, heated until just smooth, 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips, 8-oz. package of Bits o' Brickle Toffee Bits. I purposely omitted the chopped pecans! I'd sprinkled chocolate chips over the peanut butter and placed back in 350o F. oven 5 minutes, then using a flat metal spatula, I spread the chocolate chips evenly. I'd baked the crackers 8 to 10 minutes with the butter-sugar mixture before heating the peanut butter and spreading the peanut butter over the butter-sugar covering. I DID cover the pan of bark and chilled it until set. It will probably be all day in my refrigerator to make sure that the candy bark is REALLY firm! I thank you for this recipe! This is a great holiday recipe! delowenstein"
