- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 teaspoons minced fresh cilantro
- 1 tablespoon canola oil
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 2 cans (15 ounces each) pinto beans, rinsed and drained
- 2/3 cup salsa
- In a large skillet or saucepan, saute onion and cilantro in oil until tender. Add garlic; cook 1 minute longer. Stir in the beans and salsa; heat through. Yield: 6 servings.

I loved these beans!!! We frequently have beans as a side, but this is a great easy way to jazz them up. The best part is that the ingredients are things that I usually have on hand.
This was very good but next time I would add more salsa.
quick and good. I suggest really to mince the onion and use a spicy, thick, chunky salsa and if you like it extra spicy use some pepper sauce.
