Salmon with Honey Pecan Sauce Recipe

I love the explosion of sweet and buttery flavors in every bit of this salmon dinner. —Alice Stanko, Warren, Michigan
TOTAL TIME: Prep/Total Time: 30 min. YIELD:4 servings


  • 4 salmon fillets (4 ounces each)
  • 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped pecans, toasted
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 tablespoons reduced-fat butter


  • 1. Place salmon skin side down on a broiler pan; sprinkle with seasoned salt and pepper. Broil 3-4 in. from the heat for 7-9 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork.
  • 2. Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, cook the pecans, honey and butter over medium heat for 8-10 minutes or until bubbly. Serve with salmon. Yield: 4 servings.
Editor's Note: This recipe was tested with Land O'Lakes light stick butter.
