Ruby-Red Strawberry Burst Recipe
My friend served this beverage when I was her guest one warm summer day. It's refreshing, tasty and easy to prepare.
TOTAL TIME: Prep/Total Time: 5 min. YIELD:2 servings
- 2 cups red grapefruit and strawberry juice drink
- 1 medium firm banana, cut into chunks
- 6 fresh strawberries
- 1 cup ice cubes
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1. In a blender, combine all ingredients; cover and process until smooth. Pour into chilled glasses; serve immediately. Yield: 2 servings.
1-1/4 cups equals 213 calories, trace fat (trace saturated fat), 0 cholesterol, 26 mg sodium, 53 g carbohydrate, 2 g fiber, 2 g protein.
