Raspberry Smoothies Recipe
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup fresh or frozen unsweetened raspberries
- 1 small ripe banana, cut into chunks
- 1/2 cup apple juice
- 1/2 cup raspberry yogurt
- 1. In a blender, combine all ingredients; cover and process until blended. Pour into chilled glasses; serve immediately. Yield: 3 servings.
One 1-cup serving (prepared with 1% milk) equals 147 calories, 2 g fat (1 g saturated fat), 8 mg cholesterol, 70 mg sodium, 29 g carbohydrate, 4 g fiber, 5 g protein. Diabetic Exchanges: 1 fruit, 1 reduced-fat milk.
