Here's a refreshing cooler for a late-summer afternoon. The cider is so pretty in a clear sparkling glass!--Pat McIlrath, Grinnell, Iowa
TOTAL TIME: Prep: 10 min. + chilling YIELD:5 servings


  • 1 pint (2 cups) fresh or frozen raspberries
  • 4 cups apple cider
  • Mint sprigs, optional


  • 1. In a bowl, crush berries. Add cider and mix well. Strain through a fine sieve or cheesecloth. Chill. Garnish with mint sprigs if desired. Yield: about 5 cups.
