Reviews for Ranch Snack Mix
"I am adding another 5-star rating. I made this for our annual (adult) kids fall birthday party. (All of them plus one spouse were born in the fall so one big party is easier.) This snack was a huge hit. The recipe makes a LOT which comes in handy for a crowd. My clan was picking around the pretzels so I think I will try subbing wheat Chex the next time I make it for my family. The only negative thing for me is that it was a little too salty for my taste but nobody else mentioned that . One more thing: due to my extreme nut allergies, I subbed a 9 oz. bag of oyster crackers for the cashews. I will be making this again and again."
"I was a little skeptical at first but I needed an easy treat for a meeting. I didn't want to deal with the oven and since this recipe had lots of things I love, I went with it. I was afraid it would be really oily but it wasn't. It was tasty and just right for a roomful of hungry office managers."
"Was looking for some easy snack mixes for my kids for the holidays. This was very easy and got 2 thumbs up from the kids. YUM! Thanks. Will have to make this more often. Thanks for the quick easy recipe."
"This is always a hit! We take it to every family gathering. It's also really easy to switch up the ingredients if you can't find something! My family and I like to use corn chips instead of Bugles."
"So easy. So delish! First thing to sell out at our bake sale. Made it Monday, still crisp when sold on Friday. We put it in clear cellophane bags, tied with a ribbon. Looked great!"
"Had to dump this one. It was a gross waste of fine snacks."
"And, I used two packages of ranch mix."
"The recipe I have uses popcorn oil and you bake it for 40 min at 250 degrees, stirring every ten minutes. I pour it out on paper towels to absorb some of the oil after it bakes."
"Wouldn't let me add 5 stars on earlier post :)"
"LOL! It wouldn't let me add stars before."
"I've made a similar recipe. The only difference was I added mixed nuts and m & m's. Big hit!!"
"This was very good. I did use 2 pkgs. of ranch dressing mix to get the flavor we wanted. Will make again."
"This was really quick and easy but way too salty for my family."

"VERY GOOD, YOU CAN'T WALK PAST IT WITHOUT EATING SOME!!SELOGY"
"I really wanted to bake this, but there just isn't any need. I added about 1/2 teaspoon extra ranch and it came out perfect!"
"This is so good, I did add some garlic podwer about 1 /2 teaspoon,"
"It's hard to stop eating this...it's really good! I think the Bugles are the best part."
"This is awesome! Me & my kids love it so much!"
"This is the best snack mix! Everyone loves it! Have made it many many times!"
"I've been making this recipe since it was printed. What a fun easy delicious mix that requires no baking. Great for all occasions, I nice change from the norm."
"I have made this recipe since it first came out in fall 2001. I have made it for my son to take on band competitions to share with the bus load of band members and since he graduated 3 years ago, I still get requests for this mix through my daughter who is now traveling to band competitions. I use the multi-colored Gold Fish and this adds great Fall color to the mix. Great recipe, our favorite snack mix!"
"Easy to make but seemed a little too salty. Maybe next time I would use no-salt pretzels to cut down on the salt."
