Raisin Bread Pudding Recipe

Raisin Bread Pudding Recipe

My sister gave me the recipe for this delicious bread pudding that's dotted with raisins. It's a big hit with everyone who's tried it. A homemade vanilla sauce goes together quickly on the stovetop and is yummy drizzled over warm servings of this old-fashioned-tasting treat. —Sherry Nice McComb, Ohio

"This looks good, just wondering about the bread. Do you use just regular 'wonder bread' type bread or a more homemade type?"

"we use either craisins or/and dates. we have also used chocolate chips.

We make a lemon sauce which is similar to the vanilla sauce but instead of vanilla it uses up to 5 rablespoons of lemon juice. Yummy"
