"My grandmother discovered this recipe over 50 years ago," says Teresa Jarnot of Monroe, Washington. "When I began baking for weekly church dinners, my mother shared it." Stir up a big batch and you'll have more than enough for the chocolaty sweets that follow.

"Having a brownie mix in your pantry is PERFECT. When you don't feel like making something from scratch - you can pull out your mix without using store mixes (which cost more). Great!"

"Do you get 24 brownies to a batch? I see it says yield is 108 or 12x9. That would mean using this in about 4 batches to yeild 96. I never cut but around 20 per batch to have large brownies for four people."

"Could you provide directions on how to use the mix? This sounds like it would be convenient to keep on hand."
