Reviews for Quick BLT Dip
"Fabulous! I added a bit more bacon - actually, it was smoked bacon bits - such a great flavor!"
"Great dip! I use less mayo and more sour cream for our tastes but super yummy!"
"I have made this several times. I use only Hellmans mayo. Quality is important. I also add chopped lettuce right before serving so that it is truly a BLT dip. Delicious!"
"I made this recipe quite a few times for gatherings and so on. But the main reason I make it is because my husband asks for it and wants the whole bowl to himself. With that in mind, this is an excellent recipe!!!"
"This is so delicious. It's really good in the summer with fresh tomatoes but I make it year round. I also def use the green onion and ranch mix. Yummy!"
"I did half the amount of mayo, and the other half cream cheese so it didn't taste too mayo-y like some people mentioned. Also added garlic powder, onion powder, and ranch seasoning from the salad dressing aisle. I didn't have time to cook bacon so i got bacon crumbles from the salad dressing aisle also (it has half the fat anyway).Instead of crackers or potato chips, try the dip with central market organics HATCH green chile tortilla chips (from HEB). You're welcome! :)"
"Serve in a head of lettuce that is hollowed out and place scoopable Fritos all around. YUMMY!"
"I took this to a potluck and everyone loved it."
"excellent with potato chips!"
"This is the most amazing appetizer I have ever eaten! It tastes excatly like a BLT sandwich! I substitued REAL freshly grated parmesan cheese for the cheddar and mini grape tomatoes for the regular sized ones. I also put about 1 teaspoon of onion powder in it and left out the green onions."
"Really good. I use Roma tomatoes because of less seeds & also add alittle dill. Always requested at get togethers."
"creamy and delicious. i served this with Ritz crackers it was a big hit. You can't go wrong with bacon!"
"I always make this dip for special occasions, everyone always asks me to make it!! I do make a few changes though, I had a few splashes of hot sauce to taste and add about 1/2 a tablespoon of onion powder. I omit the cheddar cheese. I also carve out a head of lettuce an serve it in there, makes a nice presentation."
"was wonderful -- I "cheated" and used "Real Bacon" wound in the condiments section (way less fat and mess!!!) and pulsed it through the food processor -- it was a hit."
"Although this was pretty good as-is, I would substitute cream cheese for the mayo next time"
"I also found it to need garlic and onion powder."
"delish ! i add bacon bits instead of bacon strips. gives it more bacon flavor. half mayo."
"I thought this was just okay. I served it at my son's 22nd birthday party. The young adults loved it. After reading other reviews, I think adding garlic powder and dill would help tremendously."
"Easy and delish..I added some cream cheese as well, plus some dill and garlic pwd."
"I always get compliments on this dip and it is often requested. I add a bit of garlic powder to the mix."
"I've took this work once and it went over great, everyone ask for the recipe. I've even tried it on baked potatoes it gave the potato a reat taste."

"This is one of my favorite dip recipes! And it's SO easy, you can't go wrong."
"yum......yum, yum! I served with pretzel chips (found in the deli section)"
"Made this for Thanksgiving and it was fabulous!"
"I have made this dip a few times and instead of green onion as a garnish I actually add very little (maybe 2 tablespoons at most) chopped sweet onion (like a vidalia) to the dip. It adds just a little extra flavor and I've had rave reviews!"
"i think it sounds delicious. with dips that have mayo and sour cream i never taste either one and i don't like mayo or sour cream. they just counteract each other and make a better taste!"
"I have been making this for about 5 years, though I don't use the cheese or onion. Everyone raves over it."
"to mayonnaisey. take the mayo taste out and it might be a little better."
