Yummy! I omitted the simple syrup as the hazelnut liqueur is sweet enough to me, and I used more half & half/less milk as I like a creamy taste to a sweet drink like this. I have up until this recipe enjoyed a pumpkin martini using 2 oz vanilla vodka, 2 oz pumpkin spice liqueur (seasonal by HW) shaken well with ice, poured into a chilled martini glass, topped with a little half & half and a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice. Omitting the vodka from that one makes it a little sweeter.
Wow, this is really good. I didn't do the cookie rim but I think that would just add to it. Smooth and creamy!
I made this last evening at my Uppercase Living Party, it was a hit! I premixed it (8 times the listed amounts, and it made a little over 2 quarts. Delicious, unique, and a keeper!
