Reviews for Prune-Pecan Cookies
"These are really delicious! I am not sure what happened with the other reviewer but mine turned out beautifully. The dough is very, very sticky so I put it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes or so before baking and I added 1 tsp of orange extract when I pur?ed the prune and egg in the blender. They are very light and chewy and they freeze well and thaw quickly- perfect to have on hand for surprise guests."
"Unfortunately, these are too easy to be true. It seems that some ingredient must be missing. After following this recipe, the batter was a dry, floury mess. Nothing held together. Because I hate to waste, I added about a 1/4 c of butter flavored crisco and about a 1/4 coffee brandy, baked for 15 min. They weren't the best, but I did taste the prune in there. Would not make again, and think that taste of home should re-test this one."
