"I love this. When I bake the beans I always put 4 or 5 slices of bacon on top to cook with the beans, I also add a bit of maple syrup or molasses to the mixture and then drizzle a little on top - over the beans and bacon"

"I don't like the fact that everything I canned. I'm sure it'll taste just fine, but it has not one or two canned ingredients, but THREE. Not healthy, specially when you guys live in America and have all those amazing ingredients right at your corner. Start eating better, people."
"It's a very good recipe and it was enjoyed by all but, to me it's just not a real baked bean dish when you have to start out with canned beans and it's really hard to find a recipe where you start from scratch with dried beans."
"Delicious! I also use these ingredients and recommend adding a dash of cinnamon. It's a secret ingredient! Try preparing this dish the day before....yum!"

"I am replacing my previous recipe with this one! I added some chopped Bell Pepper which I sauted with the onion and bacon. Excellent flavors!"
