Reviews for Popcorn Bars
"I have made this recipe for years. I also, leave out the corn syrup and most of the time add a cup of raisins. I have never had a problem with my M & Ms melting."
"I think this is a good recipe--with modifications. I'm not entirely sure that the corn syrup is necessary--makes for the extra gooeyness. I poured a 1/2 c. of the M&Ms in a second before putting in the pan so they wouldn't melt. Then I sprinkled the remaining ones on the top of bars--this worked well and kept them from all melting."
"I agree with you. My M&M;s melted and was very gooey. Wonder what made them that way?Jarrene"
"These sounded like a fun "take" on Rice Krispie Bars but they were VERY gooey and hard to eat. I would not make them again!"
