Poached Corn Recipe
- 5 cups fresh or frozen corn
- 2 cups milk
- 4 teaspoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1. In a large saucepan, combine all ingredients. Cook over low heat for 10-12 minutes or until corn is tender, stirring frequently. Serve with a slotted spoon. Yield: 6 servings.
