I made these sandwiches one evening for my family, and they were a huge hit with everyone, including the picky eaters. There’s plenty of sauce and cheese to complement the baked meatballs.

Made these for dinner and the family declared it a keeper. I used ground turkey in place of the ground beef and used thinly cut cheddar cheese in place of the American (didn't have any on hand). I also used whole wheat bread crumbs in place of the saltines. I liked this recipe because it was quick to put together, even making the meatballs. We will be enjoying this one again!

My 7 year old loves this recipe, but we leave off the American cheese.
