Pineapple Smoothies Recipe
- 1-1/2 cups unsweetened pineapple juice
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 2 cups ice cubes
- 2 cans (8 ounces each) unsweetened crushed pineapple
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1. Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor; cover and process until smooth. Pour into glasses; serve immediately. Yield: 6 servings.
1 cup equals 133 calories, trace fat (trace saturated fat), 1 mg cholesterol, 50 mg sodium, 31 g carbohydrate, 1 g fiber, 2 g protein. Diabetic Exchanges: 1-1/2 fruit, 1/2 starch.
