This pink cooler is deliciously thirst-quenching on a warm day. Seeing its color, folks guess it might be pink lemonade. They're pleasantly surprised to discover the bubbly blend includes cranberry, pineapple, orange and lemon juices. —Marion Lowery, Medford, Oregon
TOTAL TIME: Prep: 10 min. + chilling YIELD:20 servings

Ingredients

  • 8 cups cranberry juice
  • 3 cups pineapple juice
  • 3 cups orange juice
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 liter ginger ale, chilled
  • 1 medium navel orange, sliced

Directions

  • 1. In a large container, combine juices; refrigerate. Just before serving, transfer to a punch bowl; stir in ginger ale and orange slices. Yield: 5 quarts.

"Wonderful punch! I love the little bit of "bite" that the ginger ale gives to it. I was in a hurry and just mixed three of the fruit juices one night, planning to add the lemon juice the next day. I sampled it the next morning before getting around to adding the lemon, and it tasted so good that way, I didn't do anything else to it. I'll definitely make it again!"
