Pear Cooler Recipe
- 1 can (15-1/4 ounces) sliced pears, undrained
- 2 cups ice cubes
- 1 envelope whipped topping mix (Dream Whip)
- 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon vanilla or almond extract, optional
- In a blender, combine all of the ingredients. Cover and process until smooth. Pour into chilled glasses; serve immediately. Yield: 3 servings.

I really enjoyed this smoothie. It is a great use of all the canned pears I have from the pear tree in my yard. I think next time I will try adding a little Splenda. The suggestion for yogurt also sounds good.
This was so yummy! I loved it. Even my Husband liked it and he is very picky about fruit drinks.
Instead of using whipped topping mix, try plain yogurt and maybe a little O J.
