Reviews for Peanut Butter Chocolate Bars
"Taste like the scotcheroos without the butterscotch chips. Fast and easy...."
"This is a favorite For the peanut butter lovers at our house."
"The melted chocolate pushes these bars over the top! This is a easy, quick and yummy recipe. I have made these many time, often omitting the melted chocolate and pressing 1 cup of mini chocolate chips into the top. This eliminates lots of sticky, chocolatey hands! Plus, not quite as sweet. Wonderful combination of flavors!"
"I never made this recipe but I happened to come across it and found out that it is pretty much the same recipe my Mom makes all the time- especially when I was a kid. We loved them and now that I have made them some they are really easy! You can also subsitute half of the corn syrup for honey. In the recipe we use, sometimes you need 8 cups of cereal and for the topping, we use 1 cup chocolate chips and 1 cup butterscotch chips. SO good!"
"Finally! an outstanding recipe for Peanut Butter Bars. I didn't quite have a full cup of light corn syrup so I improvised and used honey. Couldn't tell the difference. I also used aluminum foil to line my 9 X 13 pan before adding the Rice Krispie Mixture."
