Peachy Yogurt Shake Recipe
Here's a unique way to eat fruit for breakfast. My two preschoolers think they're really getting away with something when I serve these "milk shakes".
- 3/4 cup milk
- 2 cups sliced peaches
- 1 cup peach-flavored yogurt
- 1 cup crushed ice
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 drops almond extract
- 1. In a blender container, place all ingredients in the order indicated. Process until smooth. Yield: 3-4 servings
1 cup: 150 calories, 2g fat (1g saturated fat), 9mg cholesterol, 55mg sodium, 29g carbohydrate (27g sugars, 2g fiber), 5g protein.
