Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons steak sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon celery seed
  • 1/8 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
  • Torn salad greens

One serving (2 tablespoons) equals 43 calories, 3 g fat (1 g saturated fat), 4 mg cholesterol, 204 mg sodium, 4 g carbohydrate, 0.55 g fiber, 1 g protein. Diabetic Exchanges: 1/2 starch.

Directions

  1. In a small bowl, combine the first seven ingredients with a wire whisk. Serve over salad greens. Refrigerate leftovers. Yield: 1 cup.

This combination simply seemed too strange not to try! LOL! As it turns out, it is very flavorful!! I don't like it as a dressing for greens, however, as a dip, or as a dressing for chicken salad, I think it works quite well!
