Oven-Roasted Asparagus Recipe
- 2 pounds fresh asparagus, trimmed
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 2 to 4 green onions, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1. Preheat oven to 425°. Place asparagus in a 15x10x1-in. pan. Toss with melted butter and green onions; spread evenly. Sprinkle with salt.
- 2. Roast until crisp-tender, 10-15 minutes. Yield: 6 servings.
1 serving: 87 calories, 8g fat (5g saturated fat), 20mg cholesterol, 266mg sodium, 4g carbohydrate (1g sugars, 1g fiber), 2g protein.
