Ingredients

  • 2 cups (16 ounces) plain yogurt
  • 1 can (6 ounces) frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 10 Popsicle molds or paper cups (3 ounces each) and Popsicle sticks

Directions

In a small bowl, combine the yogurt, orange juice concentrate and vanilla. Fill each mold or cup with 1/4 cup yogurt mixture; top with holders or insert sticks into cups. Freeze. Yield: 10 pops.

"I tasted the batter before I froze them and decided it needed more sugar (I used Splenda). I also used Greek yogurt to up the protein. They weren't bad, but I will let my 4 year old grandson test them and see what he says!"

"I made it according to directions. a bit tangier than my husband liked. I would add a touch of stevia to make it a touch sweeter. I would also drain the yougurt for an hour or so to take a bit of the 'tang' that a few folks might not care for.

Great texture! Other fruits will work well too!

"the first time I made it exactly as directed, the second time I made these, I picked some oranges off my tree and added the fresh orange juice and pulp and it was great. I also made these using my fresh peaches that I puree in the blender first and then add them to the yogurt and freeze. my grandkids love these, and they are healthy too."
