Onion Fried Chicken Recipe

Could fail-proof, finger-lickin’ good chicken be any easier than this? Gwen Hannibal from Odell, Illinois shares a 3-ingredient recipe that’s simply delicious and so full of flavor, you’ll be tempted to double it even without “company” coming! TIP: Use leftover french-fried onions to dress up green beans or add to sour cream for topping baked potatoes later.

"I'm only giving this 4 stars cause my son liked it. I didn't dislike it, but if it weren't for his really liking it and commenting on the smell before it was served, I'd never make it again. While the chicken came out surprisingly juicy for baked chicken without a proper sear, the fried onions were soggy. Guess I was expecting them to still be crispy. I think I could have the same result having just used the honey mustard. The onions on the bottom were mush. The only way around this that I know of would be to apply the onions 5 minutes or so before done and just on one side."

"I enjoyed the simplicity of this recipe. Since I didn't have enough fried onions, I mixed what I had with onion soup mix. It was somewhat salty, but tasty."
