- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cups (16 ounces) sour cream
- 3 cups self-rising flour
- 2 cups (12 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips
- Preheat oven to 350°. Beat eggs, sugar and sour cream until well blended. Gradually stir in flour. Fold in chocolate chips. Transfer to a greased 9x5-in. loaf pan.
- Bake until a toothpick comes out clean, 65-75 minutes. Cool in pan 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool. Yield: 16 servings.

"I found this recipe to be really easy and VERY good, too! I did follow editor's note on the substitution for the self-rising flour and used light sour cream. Other than that, ingredients were in keeping with recipe. I did use smaller loaf pans and less baking time. Thank you for this recipe!"
