Oil & Vinegar Dipping Sauce Recipe
I came up with this homemade dipping sauce after eating something similar at my favorite Greek resturant. It goes wonderfully with fresh-baked bread and a glass of white wine.
TOTAL TIME: Prep: 5 min. + standing YIELD:8 servings
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
- Sliced French bread baguette
- 1. Place garlic in a small bowl; pour oil and vinegar over top. Let stand for 10-15 minutes. Serve with baguette slices. Yield: 1 cup.
2 tablespoons (calculated without baguette) equals 128 calories, 14 g fat (2 g saturated fat), 0 cholesterol, 3 mg sodium, 2 g carbohydrate, trace fiber, trace protein.
