Oil & Vinegar Dipping Sauce Recipe

I came up with this homemade dipping sauce after eating something similar at my favorite Greek resturant. It goes wonderfully with fresh-baked bread and a glass of white wine.

  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
  • Sliced French bread baguette

Nutritional Facts

2 tablespoons (calculated with baguette): 128 calories, 14g fat (2g saturated fat), 0 cholesterol, 3mg sodium, 2g carbohydrate (1g sugars, 0 fiber), 0 protein.


  1. Place garlic in a small bowl; pour oil and vinegar over top. Let stand for 10-15 minutes. Serve with baguette slices. Yield: 1 cup.
