"Followed recipe exactly and they were fine! I would like a replacement for the 1/2 c of shredded wheat as well, instead of having to buy a whole box of cereal I'll never eat. Other than that, 4 stars! Crunchy & delicious with the cranberries! I would have given it 5, but I could still taste the shredded wheat in the cookie."

"cookies taste great, so delicious! but i did change the recipe.I used margarine instead of butter which is all veggetable, i used prob. too much vanilla or something and didnt add any shreded wheat as i coudnt find it, so i added 1/2 cup oats, as a result the mix was too soft to handle. I added one cup flour and refrigeretad a little so i worked it by hand making flat and delicious cookies. This cookies are just perfect sweet and soft inside and everyone in the family loved them!"

"I needed door prizes for a meeting and remembered seeing this recipe. The cookies are excellent! The only change I made was decreasing the walnuts to 1/2 cup so all the ingredients would fit in my jars. Would also suggest rolling the dough into a ball with hands and then flattening slightly. The cookies stayed together better. Thanks for the recipe, and I will for sure be using it again!"

"Oh these are good! I used Smart Balance 50/50 butter blend in place of the butter, Splenda Blend in place of the sugar and Egg Beaters in place of the eggs. The mix will make some very festive Christmas gifts."
