Nutty Bananas Recipe
This dish can be prepared with walnuts, honey-roasted peanuts or another nutty topping. And the mayonnaise and the sugar could be replaced by a salad dressing or plain yogurt. Either way, it's an easy way to dress up bananas.—Elizabeth Montgomery, Allston, MA

- 3 medium ripe bananas
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- 1-1/2 teaspoons sugar
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1. Slice bananas in half lengthwise; cut each piece in half. Spread with mayonnaise; sprinkle with sugar and nuts. Serve immediately. Yield: 6 servings.
